Bakery management solutions
In addition to online ordering, bakery management
software systems continue to expand throughout the
retail bakery universe.
Headquartered in York, England, Cybake was established
as the UK's leading bakery management solution
before opening for business in Philadelphia in October
2020. Despite launching during the height of the
pandemic, cloud-based Cybake is now used by
bakeries in the majority of US states (and four
provinces of Canada) to manage their orders,
production, recipes, deliveries and more.
In recent news, Cybake operations director
Martin Coyle has relocated to Boulder, Colo.,
to lead the bakery software specialist's team in
the USA.
Commenting on his relocation, which will be for 12
months, Coyle says: " We are currently in the process of
implementing our first rollout of Cybake ISB in the
USA. We will also soon announce new features for
our main Cybake offering. These new features
were developed at the request of bakeries in
the States, so the timing for my move couldn't
be better. "
Coyle joined Cybake in 2009 as a sales manager
and was appointed as a company director in 2012.
He has been the company's operations director since
2018, working closely with its larger customers and

As well as helping to spread the adoption of its flagship
Cybake solution for commercial bakeries, Coyle will
also have a particular responsibility for Cybake ISB, the
company's separate in-store production planning tool

In addition to this announcement, Cybake® has
appointed food and beverage sector expert Ali Lyons
as its worldwide retail partnerships director. Lyons will
have particular responsibility for the company's Cybake
ISB retail food production planning system.
Lyons' multi-site F&B leadership experience comes
from many years of heading up café and food to go
divisions at both Marks and Spencer and Morrisons
Supermarkets. She started out in store management at
M&S and followed a 17-year career path at the company.
This included various head office roles with a focus on
hospitality and led to heading up M&S Cafés. Ali then
spent four years at Morrisons where she joined as part
of the senior leadership team with responsibility for the
supermarket chain's cafes, staff rooms, coffee and food
to go concepts.
" I am joining Cybake at a time of ambitious growth
for the company. I have used the Cybake ISB solution
myself to good effect for many years and I am surprised
how many operators don't have adequate planning in
place; it is an essential part of the system. I look forward
to working with existing and new customers to properly
expand their outlets' full potential, " Lyons says.
